Research and Learning are the foundations of site selection to ensure your success. Over the last 16 years I have discovered that only one thing really matters in the end, IRR or Margins. This lesson in any transaction drives you to find sites that has been overlooked or simply not on the market with the use that's profitable.  Different than other financial industries, the  beauty of real estate is there is no insider trading rules and shadow research is welcome. Today with technology plus the available property data online and some common sense, you can quickly pre-underwrite almost any property as well as determine feasibility quickly. 

Now with the experience as well as education from the NSU's Terri Stiles School of Real Estate Development, I feel even more confident in my abilities to identify deals that make profits for DR Horton and their stockholders.  There is no replacement for thorough diligent pursuit of  great assets along with the ability to Win Win negotiate.

REE 5884 - Land Use Regulation Final: Case Study subject must include a conceptual site plan and a rezoning and/or comprehensive plan amendment. The student must obtain the project records, review the staff analysis, review minutes of the public hearings and critically analyze the project, including the student’s opinion of the appropriateness of staff’s recommendation and the final legislative action based on Smart Growth principles. Presented June 23, 2018

REE 5879 - Real Estate Development

This Davie site consisted of 1.25 Acres with flexible zoning that our team maximized density along with a project plan that could be built today.  This Memo gives a clear view along with detailed information that would enable precise and quick decision on its viability of affordable housing project or market for sale or rent product. A true sample of a complete feasibility with all our own designs. Completed May 3 , 2018

OF REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT

The Terry W. Stiles School of Real Estate Development was formed to honor the memory and the legacy of Terry Stiles as a visionary real estate developer and Broward County business leader. He was instrumental in developing the curriculum, served as a member of the MSRED Advisory Board, and regularly participated in program related events, classes, site tours, competitions, and guest lectures. He also provided ongoing guidance and financial support to the program. Students and faculty found him to be a ready resource by serving as a personal and professional mentor to numerous students. Many of these NSU graduates remark that he helped guide them far beyond graduation.
